INDENI Chemical Laboratory Fuel Testing Capabilities

INDENI Chemical Laboratory tests and certifies Petroleum fuels as required by the Zambian Standards or specifications, and follows ASTM and IP testing methods. In-house expertise and analytical resources make INDENI a reliable fuel testing provider for such issues as ; trouble-shooting, trace contamination (or adulteration) issues, and the most demanding fuel analysis such as Crude Oil Assaying and Jet A1 testing.

The Laboratory has the capacity to test the following Fuels

  • Liquefied Petroleum Gases

  • Light and Heavy Naphthas

  • Domestic Kerosene

  • Jet A1

  • Petrol

  • Light and Heavy Fuel Oils (Bunker fuels)

  • Petroleum or Crude Oil feedstock

The Laboratory uses the following test Fuel test methods

  • ASTM fuel test methods

  • IP fuel test methods

In addition to classical test methods, the Laboratory practices the following Instrumental methods of analysis

  • X-Ray Fluorescence

  • FT-IR Spectroscopy

  • Chemiluminiscense

  • Coulometry

  • Potentiometry

  • Gravimetry

  • Atomic Absorption Spectrometry

  • Gas and Liquid Chromatography
